Heart Is A Song Book

Your heart is a songbook,
Bound together with time gone by.
The paper is stained with your life
time of experiences
as the sung melodies as pure as a
snowy winter morning.
recollections of a bygone era
But some like me sing to a different tune
Our lyrics are not so clear,
What is it that you sing of?
I am always eager to hear.
If you could, would you read me, Like I do
you, well would you?
But I keep myself hidden and obscure,
With walls and bars of the coldest steel.
What is it that you cry for?
I am dying to know
My tears flow, like a river to the sea,
of memories so bitter and so much regret
I love people the simplicity of some,
The puzzles of others.
I love with my whole heart.
some think I am stupid, some not.
Do I care, no not a jot
If I could have, I would've danced
the same dance,
I would've marched to the same beat.
But I've been stuck in this cage, and you are on the outside.
What magic are your lives song made of?
Could I have been your dancer?
Or how about an abracadabra?
to let the magic soar
What must I do to set me free?
The rhymes chant to free your magical aura,
I would chant them until I have no more breath.
The exotic strides and bounds of your life dance,
I would have loved to learn them even if it
had taken me a life time.
What ever you are missing, find it.
Who ever you are seeking, find them.
I am here, just your Internet friend
from across the ocean waves
sing to me and you will not only be heard,
You will be understood too.
I may not have a lot, but what I have is true.
My head and back are damaged, my heart is bruised
not broken,
My friends from far away places, without some.
as stupid as some think I am,  my life would be an
empty song book.
You write the lines of you song book, and play it for me
I will dance forever more to the sound of the beat.
