Wednesday Lovers

They were Wednesday night lovers like the song by Jagged Edge
Creeping and sleeping with each other while he's at home in bed
She got pregnant, didn't know by who, then proclaimed it was his
Then she claimed her health prevented her from having more kids

She desired to have an abortion but he didn't want to hear of it
Because it went against his morals and the thought made him sick
But she was adamant about it and ask that he not be such a cynic
So as the loving man that he was he reluctantly took her to the clinic

As time progressed he was eventually enlightened with the truth
He was told that she had the abortion cause the father wasn't you
This information was later divulged to him by one of their mutual friends
So it must be true that whatever is done in the dark is exposed in the end
