The sky is on fire and it isn't reflected in your eyes
The entire world has come to end but they remain dark and undisturbed
Not a mirror to the chaos, the lighting, the burning on world's end
The horizon is exploding in iridescent embers and wildfire
Raging against the darkness
But they can't light yours
Two convex lenses as deep as the void no give, no fear, no show, no ire
Not a hint of lust, love, jealousy, hate, anger or desire
As cold and calm and dark, No, darker than the pitch of night when the moons been swallowed and the stars have fallen into the roaring sea
Placid and stark and barren they lay
The sky is on fire, a lit and burning alive, and it's as if you can't even see
The lightning and thunder make the world tilt and disappear, the entire ground shakes and shifts as if ready to give way
The sky is on fire and I can't see it in your eyes
