What Land is Love?
If I recall this is what falling feels like.
As my mind dives into my chest and my soul is freed soaring on the wings of your smile.
Your smile..... is amnesia
Where am I ?
Beyond some cloud.
In land where
I can only hear your breath & beat
Who will I become never mind who i was
I feel betterness & selfless here.
A mirror, an open door
Your arms extend like mine
my hands hold yours just the same.
If i could see joy it would stare back at me too....in this special place i need not have an open eye to see beauty.
Do i reside here?
A region im not quite sure I've ever been but feels like I belong.
If I remember what love feels like can l stay? How long?

This is superb. The last line, "If I remember what love feels like can l stay? How long?" really closes out the work perfectly. The feelings are definitely there and it definitely leaves me needing answers and assurance (assuming the role of the writer) to the questions you posed in the work. Excellent thank you for sharing!

As my mind dives into my chest and my soul is freed soaring on the wings of your smile."- i feel like i'm being whipped on a roller coaster that was such a good turn my heart fell right out.
"Your smile..... is amnesia
Where am I ?
Beyond some cloud.
In land where
I can only hear your breath & beat
Who will I become never mind who i was
I feel betterness & selfless here. " - sedate me, lay me in landscapes of snow where i can see my breath in the air as it turns to frost before my very eyes. you are the air i breathe and the beat after it skips. where do we go from here; hanging on a heat lamp like waiting for stockings to dry after a snow day. this memory does not taste the same as it once did.

"- walking through worlds just to be in your arms or even just reflections, i go numb and cannot be brought back from this cloud careening out of control.what are eyes for if not to see you?

" -do these walls scream my name? i've traveled through distant cities,deserts,lost dreamers...drunk, too much so to walk through the charade. a familiar warmth, won't you walk with me and sit on the end of my bed.place your head on my shoulder and rest because i'll never have to leave.
What Land is Love? -it's the one that we find comfort it even if just for one night.
