I miss you
I miss you and you’ll never even know,
I hate myself for setting the distance and losing you now,
I thought I made the right choice,
I thought I was focusing on him,
We lost touch when I lost sight,
I called you that night and you didn’t know who I was….
I told you “it’s me”,
You remembered….
“Now’s not a good time” you reply,
Before I could explain,
Before I could say I love you,
You were gone….
I called everyday but you never picked up,
I told you I loved you and you never replied,
I know that I lost you and I know it’s my fault,
Forever and always you told me,
But that came to an end….
Your guardian angel you called me,
But I broke you…
Boy I’m a fool!
I loved you all along,
I never meant to hurt you,
I love you to this day,
And you’ll never know,
I’m sorry carebear,
I’m sorry my love.

You were gone…. " this is just a heart wrenching line, Love can be beautiful and cruel.
