Another Day

Oh oh my nose is all drippy
My head is aching
My back is all "iffy"
What i wouldn't give for some home made soup
Or one of Grandma's hot toddies
To get rid of this droop
To lay in bed with my pile of covers
Turn on the tv
Hug my pillow like a lover
Sleep and dream til the flu has gone
Go to bed early
Rise up with the dawn
Sip my coffee
While watching the news
put my clothes on
When I would much rather snooze
Procrastinate till I am in a run
And there you go
Another day has begun
