This reminded me of a poem I wrote long, long ago titled "Daylights Darkness". Very reflective of my mood today, though I wrote it nearly 27 years ago...

We share the same shadows
Though we never have met
Watching love pass our windows
But that's not what we get

Someone almost looked in
So I pulled down the shades
I wonder what might have been
But the thought quickly fades

There was a look in your eyes
Erased by a whisper of fear
We'll never know if it lies
Pretending we cannot hear

Living parallel lives
Close in so many ways
Because we want without drive
We are so far away

Right under our noses
On the very same street
Right under our noses
Is a nice place to meet

if I say some thing about windows poetree rosy you will have to turn your head and smile when i say take care of your windows before someone pulls down the curtain and you wouldn't know down under is full of sprawling ones to pierce through windows you are to safe guard your self from such fellows some one told me today she waved at him  he was a passerby and he thought the wave was like come over and he came what happened can't be explained again would be maimed

What an interesting story....I won't wave my hand but only smile....

Nice to see you pass by my window and say hi to me Samael. Love the sight you were riding a bike and whistling by, I guess the one at the front was you. Now you are driving a jeep, still cool but the biking one is cooler....anyway, I love standing by my window, look at everyone and fantasize their stories.....thank you for the support!
