Paradise
to an island in the ocean
up and down in constant motion
leaving what we knew behind
believing that we will find
paradise with warm winds blowing
waterfalls from cool springs flowing
peace of mind with joyful hearts
the end of ends, the start of starts
sunrise, sunsets, stars at night
full moon rising reflecting light
on the water dappled drops
light keeps moving, never stops
you are with me, we're together
we're in motion, there's no tether
holding us to what has passed
knowing that our love will last
up and down in constant motion

we are on a journey to
paradise, just me and you
