The form on this is very interesting. The half-rhyme of horizons falling into rhymes is fantastic. While I'm certain it would still be rythmic if those two lines were divided, it wouldn't appear as waves licking the shore, would it?

Aside from that, this is a very astute verse about reaching the end of something as far as it can go, but not letting go. It's a unique subject not many could successfully write about. You encapsulated it perfectly.
