Bokeelia
Drug dealers and child molesters are living in my front yard
I can’t see the beauty of the world for all the junk cars
I guess it’s their soul that’s for sale
Still, I wish these mugs were back in jail
A guess the lawman is doing the best he can
I bet if it was his daughter livin’ across the street
He could better understand
I don’t know, what the cornbread hell?
There ain’t nothing like a Central Georgia sunset
Sittin’ here with a cold beer and no regrets
But let me tell you son, ain’t like livnin’ at Sunnyside
My neighbor, she’s so cool
We partied naked in her pool
Oh oh, but I never got screwed
Love my family oh so much, but sometimes...
You just gotta say where the hell is Bokeelia
Spent so much time down on the farm, she’ll always be my soulmate
Home is where the heart is, ain’t no reason to hate
When the smoke is in the air
We’re all looking for a graham cracker bear
It can be so sweet once you get passed the hard
candy shell
(candy shell)
But I ain’t got nothing but love, I believe in the power of above
So don’t tread on me and I’ll just let you be
There ain’t nothing like a Central Georgia sunset
Sittin’ here with a cold beer and no regrets
But let me tell you son, ain’t like livnin’ at Sunnyside
My neighbor, she’s so cool
We partied naked in her pool
Oh oh, but I never got screwed
Love my family oh so much, but sometimes...
You just gotta say where the hell is Bokeelia
(Instrumental)

Oh yeah sometimes
Sometimes, sometimes... sometimes
You just gotta say... hey hey hey
