Key Of Patience

 
Some how he eased the tension, he was a safe haven for which to put my past of demons to rest alongside his. He bore no judgement for my mistakes, took pleasure in my chaos. My troubles took leave with a passing storm, leaving new rains to follow.
 
Realization crept in, a thought, a lighthearted, giddy notion that I was falling.... into him. "I love you" threatened utterance too soon, but is to soon even allowed if another's eyes reflect one's soul?
 
I cursed him for complicating my simplicity, my effortless...  
I loathed him for awakening what had been resting in me and then I gave myself in all my entirety to him.
He cradled my burdens whispering them to sleep arising in me life...breath flow freely from my lungs to rest my heart in safe keeping tucked tightly in his chest.
 
It was then in panting, breathless savoring I gave his ears my words, etching a new path. Where once walls had stood mighty and tall, impassable...love walks....
