That's When You'll Know
If you asked me how I’ve been, I would say I’m doing fine.
But you’ll know I’m getting bad when you see blood drip down my thighs.
When you find those empty pill bottles I tried so hard to hide.
You’ll know I’m getting bad when you notice my loose clothes.
When my face has sunken in, blood shot eyes, wrists too thin,
That’s when you’ll know.
I might not be as fine as I’d like for you to think,
but please believe me when I say that I’ve been trying.
But you’ll know I’m getting bad when you see blood drip down my thighs.

You’ll know I’m getting bad when you notice my loose clothes.
When my face has sunken in, blood shot eyes, wrists too thin,
That’s when you’ll know.

but please believe me when I say that I’ve been trying.
