Perfect Picture
Cover Cover Cover ... I attempt to conceal precisely how I’m feeling from the worldly concern... Smile Smile Smile.... I attempt to keep it on so perfect.... Don’t cry ... Don’t break down.... Keep it together.... I attempt to convience myself day by day...twenty-four hours... Today I cannot obscure it any longer... Doubt .... Sadness ... Depression.... Anxiety... they all collide HARD ... Run ...duck... shield myself but KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK ....BROKEN DOWN to the core of my being.... Some days I experience the impulse to collapse on everything.... Life ...Love....MYSELFI found a light at the end of the tunnel but will that be enough... this monster is lurking in the shadows.... She is trying to convince me to allow her takeover .... It sounds so easy... She spits fire with her words... Slick verbalizer .... mood persuader .... Judgement clouded.... Emotions in overdrive... how could I constitute feeling all these useless emotions at at one time... I shout out loud ... So loud I lose my voice.... I’m trying to hold on my psyche but she is yanking on it... Her clench is tight... ThaThat light I see gets brighter .... I can’t reach but I stretch my arms ... Oh I feel the warmth on my fingertips..... HELP ME REACH THE LIGHT.

Fascinating. The thoughts of being lost in the darkness of one's mind. How often we try to reach out to the darkness into the light. Perhaps this moment of reaching out in dispare we find such a perfect picture or just maybe it's when we realize we prefer the dark. I enjoyed this one.
