New Heart

My heart bleeds for you my love
Through the endless sands of time
Your arms stretched out, from the heavens above
To wrap around me, so gentle and kind
With a tender wisp, you wipe away all my tears
For you I cry, to fill this void
Swept away in one big gust
My heart does travel, to you to stay
Can you wipe away, the pain and rust?
With all the sacrifices, I have paid
You mold my heart with jars of clay
To rebuild it, from all things that went wrong
Smother me with your loving arms
For as the days and nights are long
Rekindle my fire with your many charms
Like a painter with his brush
You paint my wounded heart
For you knew it was torn apart
I feel your love, it's warm and lush
You drove into me, your dagger of love
For my heart now flies like the mourning doves
