I am a fish afraid of drowning
it's not possible
unless I purposely stop breathing
it's not possible
unless I do it to myself
but that is all too easy
to just stop trying
stop moving
let go
my lungs ache when I breathe
I am a bird afraid of heights
because I can't help but to think
what a pretty picture I'd make
if I were to fall
