Propagandist Media

Propagandist media is the most powerful weapon of the powers that be
They're arguably more far reaching and destructive than the U.S. Army
Most of society would prefer to channel surf than to pick up a book
Being subliminally programmed by all the shows of which they look
Life's a continuous battlefield and we must prepare for all of the wars
The physical ones that we can see and the psychological ones even more
Society seems to only be influenced by money and violence, no denying it
Malcolm X told us this when he stated that we must use the ballot or the bullet
These elected officials are supposed to work for the best interest of the people
And need to be transparent enough with their actions that they're almost see through
So if habitually and continually voting doesn't fix the things that has citizens vexed
Then it's self explanatory about what will inevitably be on the distant horizon next
