Behind the mask

I'm so empty inside
It's like I've given my all and it was never enough
This feeling hurts so bad
I never thought I would feel like this ever again
The ball dropped and I can no longer hold it up
Everyone wants to hear about your problems but never wants to listen
Everyone wants to so call help but never suggest a solution .
Always smile always be strong never let them see the real you they said
It's hard out here
Living in this cold cruel world behind a
Beautiful mask
Full of tears , fears, and long hard years
It's starting to break ...
No don't show yourself
No one there to pick up the pieces
Broken promises, fake family & friends, scars and burns so many lessons
To be  learned .
