For Whom The Bell Tolls

I watch as they form a line walking to the mouth the Earth has opened in the ground
for the being that can no longer live.

In the distance a bell tolls.

I watch them lower this person's last resting place into the hole of open dirt where
they will bury this person and they will no longer be seen by the day's light or their
loved one's eyes.

The bells tolls louder.

This is a march of death, a black parade, a crime of loss; "Good-bye" is all you say to
the on whom you simply put down in the Earth? Have you no respect for them
anymore?

The bell is getting closer, do you hear it?

To ignore someone during life is one thing that you should feel regret for doing
but to feel no pain after their death is sickening.

For the bell tolls on this judgement day not for myself, not for the deceased but for you
and your selfish judgement. For as you take another step and then another your heart
gets heavier to hold and you collapse under your own guilt.

For whom the bell tolls is the one the Earth knows isn't suppose to live. And so I say
"Good-bye" to you I hope God have mercy on your sins.
