Body Logos (In memory of Theodore Angelopoulos, Filmmaker)

He:
It's as if my face you don't see
as if it's never in your view
and no more you're searching in my eyes...

She:
The eyes have been trained in automation.
Lightning they assume any emotion;
they smile, they long, they fear;
they invite, they expect, they desire, they tear.
What can I find in the absolute absence?...
The face is well skilled
in the mimesis of countless ways
and in pretentiousness
and nothing anymore expresses.
The body, however, being a slow learner
in all its daily postures
in the widening or furling of its shoulders
in bending and stretching arms or legs
even in the uncertainty of its own silence...
The body, however, disabled in learning as it is,
always the logos will reveal
to those who observe it...
