The Forbidden Crush

I met a boy with starry eyes,
He looked at me,
And thats when the spark flies,
He had beautiful spikes and a golden heart,
A charming soul and a mind so smart.
He never failed to look at me from every corner of the class,
Checked my every move,
And initially left me aghast!

We laughed and joked and had fun together,
Everything was normal when we made projects together.
But sooner or later those eyes captured my heart,
Unknowingly, unwillingly, I waited for those stares to start.

It wasn't the first time I had been stared at,
Almost every boy had already tried that.
But I felt so bare with his naked stare,
The world felt still,
With only him standing there,
I don't know how or when this happened,
I realized I was falling in love,
Without him around, my mind would slacken,
My fingers trembled and my lips would freeze,
When he was close, it was difficult to breathe.
I tried my best to stay away from this mess,
I ignored him, which left me sad instead.

I stalked him for hours on Facebook on end,
His every word was recorded in my head,
I observed his soul and kept falling in love,
His eyes would speak to me every time we met,
I could read his soul without any fret,

But my magical world has now shattered,
I don't know what to do,
He saw me laugh with a guy and it left him battered,
The stares have stopped ever since,
He now turns his face away without a blink,
The guy I was laughing with was none but my boyfriend,
And believe it or not, this monster is my boyfriend's best friend.
I feel so sad and broken and lost,
I love my boyfriend, but I don't want to lose this magic at all!

I don't know this boy very well,
I think he was looking for a rebound,
And that left me sadder instead.
He spoke about some mysterious girl on his wall,
It left me jealous I'm telling you all.
Well, I'm not courageous enough to confess my love,
But hey love! If you're reading this, I've loved you from the start.
