Cognitive Functions - Introverted Feeling

This is outstanding. Reminds me of my own esoteric writing. A skillfully sculpted balance of vagueness that keeps the reader engaged and wondering, flavourful words (seemingly musical in delivery), and potent imagery. I enjoyed this so thoroughly, I couldn't help but read it aloud.

And I should add, because of my personality type and this being my rendition of how I feel in depth, it means even more so. As I've tried with all of these pieces, but particularly with this one. It's special to me. Thank you!

I'm a Jungian tried and true, so this resonated with me on a core level. Not sure what personality type you tested but I'm an INFJ, I Love in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. If you're not, then you're borderline.

I look forward to  reading this series and very much appreciate the time invested in this one, as it resonated personally.

I could chat for hours and hours about this. I suspected with you, your writing is reminiscent of my best friend's, who's also an INFJ. We get along splashingly. I was raised by TWO INFJ parents though as well, which is inordinately rare. So I truly gravitate toward them it seems. I'm an INFP, and therefore actually have an entirely different functional stack than an INFJ :) However, both types perform things similarly even if they process info differently. It's an awesome thing to study, and it never gets old!

You may change as you age. The first time I took the test I was an INFP. Over the course of evolution I must've changed somehow. The last two times I took it I was an INFJ. Strange how experience will mold you.    

But more important is understanding yourself and other through these methods. The fact that you were raised by TWO INFJ parents is phenomenal, since we only make up 1% of the population. But that's exactly why we gravitate toward one another as well - the comprehension to understand via existence that which is difficult to understand.   Much like no one knows the depth of water like water, and so forth.

I have never read a definition of Introverted Feelings so accurately and beautifully described and i speak from experience - you've encapsulated it in wonderful words an phrasing  - I like this a lot :-)

yes but I do not fit the profile completely probaly nobody really does I have always been able to express feelings and emotions in written words I suppose not sharing them for over 30 years kinf of applies to  Fi dominant

Yes, it's definitely not exact. And everyone possesses all of the functions to some degree anyway, so everyone will likely relate a little to everything. There's stuff I don't resonate with regarding my type, but most of it is accurate. Repressing feelings is pretty natural for Fi, but it can be to a fault. Probably why writing is so appealing :)

Interesting fact. Johnny just took the test and I retook it because it had been a few years. We both scored INFJ. . .exactly the same percentage on iNtuitive and judging, only a 6% variation in feeling, and a 25% variation in introver.

That's hilarious! I think a LOT of poets (and writers in general) are INFJs and (especially) INFPs :) In fact, many of the videos I've every watched on INFPs claim half or more of their exemplary type celebrities/historic figures to be writers of some form or another. But three of the five INFJs I know IRL write too. Neither of my parents write, which is odd. My mom is a voracious reader though, and my dad is a slow, but habitual reader with an astounding memory! On debate teams though it's inordinately INTJ/ENTJ.

True! I excelled on my college debate team! I love a good debate; however, people don't know how to debate without becoming personal nowadays. Sadly. Your parents passed the writing down to you. :D
