Where Do I Belong?
I sit and watch,
while some girls laugh,
and others cry.
While some guys party,
and others fight.
As I watch all I see is all that is not like me,
calm and shy,
sometimes cross and sly,
but never do I seem to fit.
So I sit and watch in a corner alone.
Where do you say I belong?
I am weak but strong,
fragile but never do I seem to break,
caring yet daring,
loving yet hating.
So where do I belong?
Do I stay in this corner and watch the girls and guys?
Do I seek my place with others?
Do I wait for someone to tell me?
I watch the girls live their lives.
I watch the guys zooming right by.
I watch the children I knew grow.
I watch the adults grow old.
I know I still do not belong.
Would you hear me out and tell me where I fit all along?
while some girls laugh,
and others cry.
