A Journey Through Your Mind
I'd like the chance to take a journey through your mind
To meet the the other half of you
To see the darker side
Only then could I understand what you live everyday
Only then could I understand the everyday battle you face
Expierecing your thoughts and the second person inside you myself
Would give me some insight to be able to help
I'd be able to give you all the advice you seek to find
And maybe then I could help you find peace through the paranoia and help you sleep at night
I would know how living with schitzofrenia and a multi-personality feels like
If I could take a journey through your mind

This can be said of most people not living with schitzofrenia and a multi-personality, so it is magnified tremendously for hose who do. As a former health-care worker/behavior specialist in a brain injury facility, I dealt with a wide variety of mental illnesses and can appreciate this poem on a first-hand level. Very well put!
