What Happened To Prince Charming?

Isn't she meant to feel special?
Then why is he dragging her down?
He calls himself the devil.
Maybe he's onto something.
His words have a vicious sting.
Sharper than any of her blades.
She sees him for all he is.
Yet he can't even look her in the eyes.
Taught her whole life that a man would treat his perspective wife
Like she's the woman he's been searching for all his life.
Instead her prince is gone all night long
All while she's up listening to sad songs.
She desires his love and affection
But lately there's a lack of connection.
His sweet words once soothed her.
Now his actions confuse her.
Does he even love her at all?
 Should she stay strong and love him through it all?
Or let go and let herself fall?
 She has fallen for a man who can't give her the time of day.
And tells her she's annoying with evey word she says.
All she wants is to be loved.
Adored and held dear.
She wishes to be treated like a queen.
Instead her prince is so mean.
Can't he see all that he's doing is making her feel like she's not good enough?
Her prince charming is breaking her heart.
