Saw the signs
The position justified
Remove the hindrance
Signalled
The space between stars
In half-light
And the receding consciousness
Prelude
Weaving the clouds
Above my head
Counting the marks
That separate my years
Like the marrow of a tree
Find me when it dies
Mouth white noise echoes
Over the edifying shore
That last saw my sorrow
Residual
The after-image
Of the pendulum swing
Oscillating before me
I reach for the center
Center in me
Embracing the edges
That divide me
