The earth seems sad today
Spinning a little slower
Falling a little deeper into space
Shying away from the sun
Fearing it's scorching touch
Embracing the dark side of the moon
Feeling it's cooling touch
Needing it's caresses
Yearning it's healing kisses
Knowing the moon never will
For it to is running away
The earth north
The moon south
North towards a cold light
South towards a warm darkness
