Hugging Revolution (an acrostic poem) Inspired by FromTheAsh
Hell on earth is where we now are
Under the thumb of the hateful elite
God has abandoned us to our fate
Good people always suffer the most
Idiots and lunatics spit out bile
Nazis to the left and to the right
Giving up no longer, revolution is in the air
Rebellion is necessary, just a different kind
Enlightened minds know of love
Volunteering to lead the charge
Orwellian nightmare must end
Love is all you need, the Beatles were right
Untie the noose from around our necks
Time for love to destroy hate
Ignore the doubters refusing the hug
Organise Hug-ins and free huggers
Nothing beats love and hugs

If a movement is going to self-propel, I'll throw my lot in with the love movement! My arms are well versed and eager for hugs. I've lost track of what's in the pot since the ante, but I'm all in. :)

ALLLLRIIIIGHT!! This is one revolution that has positive possibilities.....
I have a shirt that reads: "Have You Hugged My T-Shirt Today?" And needless to say, while wearing it, i have had many people stop me, and ask if they could! (Guess i'll have to find it before i join your movement!!) :p

David, I'm all for this ideal! Hugs are one of the best gestures to be felt by another's flesh...consider my arms squeezing you tight and grabbing anyone else in the near vicinity into the circle as well!

the thing I love most about my children is that they know about love, loyalty, family, compassion and charity. These were the biggest lessons we taught them and it has paid of. I am proud of them for taking those things to heart :-) thanks for the read and the wise words :-)
