My Baby
Tucked in a blanket
Wrapped in my arms
A little pink baby
That's just been born
I rub my thumb
Across her cheek
She looks up at me
With a smile so bleek
Holding her close
And hearing her breathe
Rubbing her back
And watching her sleep
I hand her back
And see her mothers joy
Then I feel a sharp pain
As I think of my little boy
Seeing all these little ones
It makes me kinda crazy
I still can't get over
Losing my baby
Wrapped in my arms
A little pink baby
That's just been born
I rub my thumb
Across her cheek
She looks up at me
With a smile so bleek
Holding her close
And hearing her breathe
Rubbing her back
And watching her sleep
I hand her back
And see her mothers joy
Then I feel a sharp pain
As I think of my little boy
Seeing all these little ones
It makes me kinda crazy
I still can't get over
Losing my baby
