I See You
I can see you clearly. The shadows that you hide. The masking smiles and laughter. The pain that’s deep inside.
I can see you breaking, with a heart that’s beyond repair. I can see you crying, though you never shed a tear.
I can see your lonliness. I can see your fear. I can see the deeds you think when no one else is there.
I can see the violence, that is only just contained. I can the rage, that leaves you muscles strained.
I can see you clearly, right down to your core. I can also see, inside you there’s so much more.
I can see your kindness, in everything that you do.
I can see your strengh, present in your every move.
I can see the light you have, blinding like the sun.
I can see the love you give to each and everyone.
I can see the good in you, and how you’re willful to a fault.
I can see the truth of you, and I know that all you want.
