I spoon-fed my monster
until it grew bigger than me
Now it follows my every step
even watches me in my sleep.
I'm afraid to be alone
it likes to lurk in the shadows
it sneak attacks me from behind
and rapes me 'til I bellow.

The urge comes on without notice and sometimes we don't have the strength to silence it. " Even watches me in my sleep." I can relate. Good write.
