Giving In To My End

Descended to the gallows where a thief watches my every swaying move.
A bitter begger,  tongue wagging, a shameful substance lashes and pants under pressure.
Cruel laugh as I continue this endeavor, showing him the limits were stretched from the moment he let his fantasies speak on his behalf.
Silence is an old friend and I visit him in screaming for air, My ears deafening to voice and livid to every kiss his lips parted to whisper. Breasts stand at attention, perking to the pain dripping ice from his lips, I live for a moment and die in the parting of our kiss.
Sweat beads from pleading brows and I can only trace their collaboration with pitiful tears that streak to desend on my awaiting tongue, his taste is my undoing, the drink that drowns my aching for what is gone from his eyes. He is alive in me, and I die a little more when his skin breaks from my soul to leave, not knowing he always has and always will be stalked by the forgiving parts of me.
He wanted what he'd only dreamed,  his mind was made of scar tissue and trickery that mocked my skill, and still...
He wanted what was all ready given and I gave him every drop of my veins to satisfy his greed.
He laid chained to a bed of his making and wished for his dream to be reality, while enduring the reality that isn't at all what it seemed.
I allowed him what was asked, giving him all of me in the hours he was granted....
Slow we're the hours, steady my sway, loving him in calculated strokes, unforgiving kisses....
Tomorrow I bleed brandy and embrace death's cold caress in the numb that is left.
But he''ll always remember me in his heaving, hurling, drunken stumble through a life that eluded me.
