The Standard Starstruck Solitude

Stars surface when we shut our eyes
Piercing like the sum of fears
Gas-lit chambers cast patterns aloft
While we repress our eternal heat

Elder light descends (ascends?)
To brush the sight of heedful humanity
Origins radiate
Remote
Extracting our kind's finest philosophies

Pendulous points parade
In gradient galactic discs
Sangria scapes neighbor heavenly planes
Suspended
Slung
In density beyond my mind
Indigo enigmas elude our stale experience
Oddity ochers ring perfect perimeters clockwise

Where should one fasten alluvial eyes?
Toward God and aggregate dark domains?
We cannot feel a lack of input
How does such principal arise?

To harbor hearts that should be lost
Unmoored inside such matter amassed
Yet drifting upon a stone
The colossal questing unrolls testing...

It makes me feel alone
