The Ocean Call
Salty waves are kissing sandy feet
I'm thrown into the sea
Where I'm expected to swim
Where no lifeguard can save me
I cannot run, I cannot hide
Nowhere to flee
A prisoner of the unruly tide
She pulls me under, she tells me I'm free...
Salty waves are kissing sandy feet
I'm further from the shore
She tells me it's okay to sink
She knows I can't swim much more
Her current is shifting, I am drifting
I miss the safety of land
She tells me it's time to swim
I cannot live alone on the sand
Salty waves are kissing sandy feet
Deeper and deeper I fall
Her guiding hand is mine to hold
"Trust me, follow my call"
I'm thrown into the sea
Where I'm expected to swim
Where no lifeguard can save me
I cannot run, I cannot hide
Nowhere to flee
A prisoner of the unruly tide
She pulls me under, she tells me I'm free...
Salty waves are kissing sandy feet
I'm further from the shore
She tells me it's okay to sink
She knows I can't swim much more
Her current is shifting, I am drifting
I miss the safety of land
She tells me it's time to swim
I cannot live alone on the sand
Salty waves are kissing sandy feet
Deeper and deeper I fall
Her guiding hand is mine to hold
"Trust me, follow my call"
