Not My Blessing

I was given life
I was given love
She gave herself to me
When she opened up
I see her naked
Not in a clothed aspect
But through to her soul
I've taken her hand
And gave her my whole
I just want her happy
That's how she seems with me
Smiling, joyful, blissfully her
I'm her biggest fan, lover, supporter
The sight of her elegant and exquisite beauty had me in tears
All I can think of is the rest of my life and all of my fears.
Love and Expedition split by "if"
Inquisition and fear; a shear cliff
I look back and fear that I will long for a point of freedom
But I know I will be free with her in my kingdom
Still I'm backing away
I'm afraid
She couldn't love me if I stay
Lust and infatuation cluttering my mind
Temptations leading me to stay behind
And how I know...
I know that this is love
No matter any new thing that I find
Her soul, spirit, aura, cling to my mind
I sulk in pity, and I must straighten my spine
Head on, I'll face them, I swear
But this pain, I dont wish her to bear.
I wont give my own blessing because im too scared.
Does that mean I don't deserve her?
Does that mean I desert her?
No. No. No.
I've got to step forward, and never look back
I've got all of my life to keep on track.
If I love her let her go? No
If I love her let her know.
I've never felt this before
How do I know?
How do I show?
I've not my own blessing
I'm not second guessing
I've taken her hand, painfully
I must remain, faithfully
So that's what I'll do
Fight for her until I know it's true
But to keep her, I have not my blessing.
