Queens Reign PT II
The first born of many
Triumphant, translucent
In the beginning, I am
She that reigns effortlessly
Appealing
To the humble masses
I can relate to she
That stumbled with insecurities
Feelings
Of a less than mentality
Conditioned to hate my enemy
Beside me, lying next to me
Blinded by the confusion
Illusion that my black man's against me
Plots from centuries old
Retold like the myth of Willie Lynch
A partial truth is still a whole lie
As I proceed to divinely divide this reality
Truth is
Together we have unity
Power and a celestial harmony
That binds, stronger than ions
And mortal chemicals
Imbalance, I stay balanced
In tuned
With stars aligned, I find in the right time, I’m there
As the Father’s Son spoke to me, I hear
Ever so plainly
Your destiny alone
To share this throne
For this Queen to reign
Majestically
Ever so humbly
Despite these earthly trials
Still I rise, fortified through the fire
I rise higher
Enclosed with His peace
I cease from
Trivial gossiping
My philosophy is this
My inheritance, His righteous
Striving high for a prize
Finally at peace when I reach
His promised paradise
To study war no more
Yet on this earthly side
I haven't made it yet
He's not done with me yet
Old folks told me that life is for the living, keep on living
See what the Queens have set before me
A higher standard of morality, modesty
And bravery
Like Deborah
Sojourner
Angela
Maya
Betty and Coretta
Not least of these, Winnie
Likened unto Mandela
On this long freedom journey
My Father, no doubt, is with me
Ancestors name etched in my vessels
Divine genealogical lineage
I live the dream conceived for these
And generations that will be
All praises to the Most High
Through He and only because of He
Will this Queen reign supreme
Triumphant, translucent
In the beginning, I am
She that reigns effortlessly
