☁Through The Storm⚡

Bright flashes in the darkness
violent thunder sounds as warning
and cold rain pours down my face
reminding me that I'm in a dreadful scary place

As my head hangs low I'm consumed by feeling there's nowhere to go
so I pray for the heaven's saving grace

Back to bed I went but couldn't sleep
instead all I could do was weep

There through my window a ray of light illuminated by my bed where I laid
and it brought with it a message of importance not to be delayed

Outreach I did and as my hand entered the light
I could see the colors shine on my skin so bright

Intrigued to know more
my feet hit the floor
blue, orange, yellow, green
my whole body glowing
It was the most beautiful light I had ever seen

Just then the wind picked up speed knocking me off my feet
and carried me

Up through the beautiful beam  angels started to rejoice and sing
The higher I went the brighter the light became
somehow I knew nothing would remain the same

The view was all of the sudden vivid and breathtaking
on the beach you stood waiting

With a warm hug and smile
you handed me a cold beer and said "We've made it through the storm love and even though we're weary, it is definitely all worth while"!

You took my hand and walked beside me to the hammock between two palm trees
and as we sat in the cool breeze
just for a moment I looked back wondering what had delivered me to you and this place of glow....

Joy filled my soul as I realized we were finally at the other end of the rainbow!🌈

You can't have a rainbow
without any rain!☔

A message for my rainbow🌈...there is light at the end of the tunnel and a place to basque in the sun!☀ Hang in there and always remember you are loved by someone!💖😉
