Something Like Stars, and Something about God's Pitching Arm
Something like stars feel from the sky,.
I watched them as they hit my eye like judgement day,.
They caressed my corneas like soft embers melting into ice,.
I thought I heard a sizzle as they landed,.
But when my head started imploding I knew it was love,.
Settling into my skull like some lost work of art,.
That was discovered by some insane art curator in a museum's corridors,.
I mused at the lessons I was taught by my teachers,.
How the cosmos have alignments and all that shit,.
Talks of meteors, gamma rays, solar winds blasting through black matter,.
How they all fall through us and make us whole,.
I began to think these stars that fell into my eye were purposeful,.
The gods must have one hell of an arm,.
They can hurdle comets from the edge of the universe's playing field,.
And land them directly onto my convoluted mind..,,.,.,,
