Ballroom of Romance-Pt 2
So this is the ballroom of romance,
No more a whirlwind,
It's still and quiet,
The candles have all gone out,
No more star-crossed dances and dirty deeds done in dark corners.
Alone,
I sit, still masked,
My head is still spinning,
The darkness is a comfort,
My loneliness is my salvation.
He has gone,
And I closed the door behind him,
The walls start to crumble,
And the gold leaf ceiling shakes,
And I am showered with plaster.
As I emerge from the remnants,
Of the ballroom of vampiric romance,
I smile,for it's all over,
This parasitic love,
It's all over.
No more a whirlwind,
It's still and quiet,
The candles have all gone out,
No more star-crossed dances and dirty deeds done in dark corners.
Alone,
I sit, still masked,
My head is still spinning,
The darkness is a comfort,
My loneliness is my salvation.
He has gone,
And I closed the door behind him,
The walls start to crumble,
And the gold leaf ceiling shakes,
And I am showered with plaster.
As I emerge from the remnants,
Of the ballroom of vampiric romance,
I smile,for it's all over,
This parasitic love,
It's all over.
