Barely a Moment's Notice

Something like a static vibration, where a feeling of ecstacy overcomes you, your hair stands straight, and everything looks brighter. As you let this feeling linger, the corners of your mouth begin to curl into a smile, and a feeling of warmth rushes down your spine. Along with that, you feel as if you're floating. Weightless, timeless, and the feeling of butterflies fluttering in the pit of your stomach as your mind stops in awe. This feeling comes effortlessly. The release of dopamine in the brain, lapsing through each brain cell, eventually getting each synapse causing overload. Excitement overcomes the mind, too much to think, too much to say. So much to feel that it leaves you speechless. Just in wonder as each sense grows stronger and more sensitive. It's a lovely feeling and it seems to overcome the body with such relative ease. The cause of this feeling was just seeing, catching a glimpse of something that meant everything and nothing. The highest of highs, and lowest of lows. You left that moment be. Behind you now, another will pass. Seize the day, now embrace the pain that was so quickly forgotten.
