Conversational Lush
They say conversation extends patience
They say conversation rules the nation
They say conversation replenishes relations
They say intimacy resolves complications
But I knew from the moment I saw her
I’ve realized she was a leader
The second when I approached her
Is when I knew I emotionally needed her
It was truly something about her
Never knew we had this attraction until I connected with her
The minute things gotten deeper
Was the moment I realized she was a keeper
As I take time to listen she had deep things to say
As I paid attention she was putting me up on game
Rarely come across that one woman that could teach me something
Conversations never go to waste when distractions mean nothing
We both had things to teach however was willing to learn
She was stimulating my mind while I did the same in return
Had a question after the meet and greet
Asked her later “did she want to link?”
She giggled and said “yes” then gave me a kiss on the cheek
Filled with excitement, couldn’t help but feel aroused every time she speaks
So finally, a few days later we meet
The sound of my voice alone left her weak
I’ve been patiently looking forward to this all week
Her past relationships must have been very meek
It’s a feeling I get every time hearing her speak
I’m amazed at how our conversations are still going strong
Picnic outside under the red sunset caps the tone
In due time the moment will be written in solid stone
A king with his queen kicking back on the throne
Once your favorite song comes on
I think about how I had your mind blown
Hypnotized by your body and curves that has me so gone
These slow jams are taking me to a different time zone
Thirsty from the vibe of your spirit
So your soul is what I’m quenching on
I’m not trying to rush
We can keep this on the hush
But I would like to know

"Thirsty from the vibe of your spirit So your soul is what I’m quenching on" That would have to be my favorite line although the entire introduction and first stanza is what snagged the attention.
