Missing you today
and it hurts so much.
That ache.
I know you feel it too.
That need of wanting another.
It just comes without warning.
I try to keep busy
but still my tears fall.
They stay on my cheeks.
They let me know this is real.
They remind me of you.

We'll have highs and lows
and laughter and tears.
Happiness and sometimes pain.
We can't make promises
or plan too far ahead and
our future is so unsure.
But I do know I love you
and I always will .......
Until my eyes close for the last time.
Until my heart stops beating.
Until I take my very last breathe.
Until my body is still
