Ice Maze (Part 3)
{collab of Bliss & Prophet}
(Part 3)
{Points of Experience}
There is nothing
in the field of vision now
except Death and ICE.
A stark, barren landscape
is a world of desolate nothingness.
This is a wasteland, a sulphur field
there was nothing good
that could come of this place.
Only a twisted wizard
like the Ice King
would ever step foot in this place.
It was obviously haunted
by unsettled souls from some battle long ago.
Lost souls sought this place as refuge.
And The ice King had brought
his minions of darkness here
through a portal crafted
in this potently magic zone.
He knew there were many surprises ahead,
as he reached the bridge
crossing the moat into
“The Kingdom of Ice”
The butter of insight
has also granted our hero
with the knowledge
That reaching the Tower
from above ground
was an impossible task,
Now he must find these barren bushes
of which the dreamland spirits spoke
Underland passages must be found
To guide him through
the caverns and catacombs
to a secret entrance below
The mission before him
was not so cut and dry,
not so straightforward,
He was glad he left
at least half
of the magic butter
As the path leads to horror,
twists of tests lie ahead.
Little to no comfort
a heart heavy
missing his second half
the only soul
Farcicle knew he couldn't live without.
The crests pattern's glare
throws his mind back
to what must get him
back on track.
Looking for the pillar of hope
to signal the bush of hallow.
Getting to the pillar
Farcicle sees a flying monkey bat.
Luckily it was sleeping,
these foes
are especially nasty when approached.
No code of decency in their tactics.
As passing almost tiptoeing by
the monkey bat opens an eye
and whispers
where do you think your heading?
Reaching for the crest
the smelly winged over grown tree dweller
blindly shrieking cursed words
for sure.
Farcicle reaches
and tosses it to the bush
and beams blast through all the land.
The blind winged beast lunges at him
as a beam of the focused light hits him
turning him instantaneously into stone
dropping to the ground
and breaking in 3 or 4 rather large pieces
except for the wings
they just
shattered
Controlling the beams
farcicle rides a beam close to the eagles lair.
Many foes there.
Hopefully the mother bird majestic
is hunting to feed her hatchlings.
Though the egg keeper is always on duty
hyper vigilant
and hungers for the poachers flesh.
It's venom first paralyzes it
He came here with no intent of stealing eggs,
The golden eggs which glistened in the dappled light.
He came to find the entrance to the Lair below.
However, he believed the entrance
to be beneath the nest of eggs.
As he moved forward,
Through the brambles and bushes,
towards the eagle's nest,
a looming figure, in the shadows,
remained hidden from the light.
And as the Brave knight peered up,
he barely missed the poison
dripping down
from the giant fangs
