Press a kiss against the tears
Slows the ink on porcelain
Salty black the taste on lips
Dark veins twisting on the skin
A departing shadow fading out
Photocopy glare of light
Blink away the after image
Escaping out into the night
Caustic diamonds to be shared
Corroding all those silver rings
Weeping poison on a pillow
Dreaming dreams of better things
This departing shadow fragments
While dark confetti takes years to fall
Dreamers woke to bleach the sheets
Like no tears were shed at all

this is beautiful and haunting - has a fascinating musicality about it, despite its darkness - I like this a lot :-)
