Missing Legs

Seen my share of hard times
Looked the enemy in the eye
I never ask God why
Missing legs... that used to walk

I don't know if she can love half a man
This Purple Heart ain't no award
Just because I can't stand
Don't mean I'll fall for anything...

Seen my share of hard times
Looked the enemy in the eye
I never ask God why
Missing legs... that used to walk

Some paid the ultimate price
Cost of freedom is squared by sacrifice
They're all gone but the Stars and Stripes still flies
Means our freedom is still alive

Our freedom is still alive!

Seen my share of hard times
Looked the enemy in the eye
I never ask God why
Missing legs... that used to walk

Missing legs... that used to walk

Missing legs... that used to walk...
