Voluntary Transition
I just want you to know
That I am still grieving from years ago
the pain is the same
not anything has changed
I still look towards the sky
Questioning the reasons why
you transitioned and didn't leave a note
How does any of us suppose to cope
There was no plea for help
No help-me-take the next step
Wondering what secrets you kept
I never knew how you felt
Did you not trust me to see
or anybody
Taking your life was not the answer, girl
You have ruined so many futures and so many worlds
I can only hope
that you made it through
I hope that you are judged by the great works
that you did do
I miss you
my friend
That I am still grieving from years ago
the pain is the same
not anything has changed
I still look towards the sky
Questioning the reasons why
you transitioned and didn't leave a note
How does any of us suppose to cope
There was no plea for help
No help-me-take the next step
Wondering what secrets you kept
I never knew how you felt
Did you not trust me to see
or anybody
Taking your life was not the answer, girl
You have ruined so many futures and so many worlds
I can only hope
that you made it through
I hope that you are judged by the great works
that you did do
I miss you
my friend
