storm clouds rest heavy  
on mountain peaks  
threaten with deep rumbles  
rolling over hills  
 
sky deepens to dark  
shades of grey  
clouds blanket treetops  
awaiting the inevitable crash  
of thunder  
 
she whispers to the heavens,  
"let it rain"
