Hermit at the Crabshack

          thank goodness for another day;
    I ultimatly drink of the glass half full with gratitude;
    even as I notice my friend on the edge of the sidewalk;
    nature is  beautiful, even through a hardship,
     that has sailed after coming in;
       maybe it was never meant for me;

       love overflows, through one;
        whether or not one is able to surface for air;
       yes; a totally tough reality;
        truly in the present moment,
        taking it all in;

         to admire another's joy from afar;
        that couple, at the park;
          those kids running with bliss;

          different perspectives;
         life itself is truly the prize;
        though suffering is the gift wrap;
         it's hard to see past the paper;
         I've never had much tendency to,
         pick it up and read fine print;

           though I appreciate the words;
         I admire each woman's beautiful face;
          through disgruntle or grace;

       whether or not one's shoes are laced;
       if you choose to wear them in the first place;
       liberal is my vanish point....
