A poem to death

Walking in the path of darkness
Eyes can finally see

Breath so shallow
I can barely breathe

To much pressure
heart's crushed

I won't allow myself happiness
Because it's all lust

Seeking out the truth
Wasn't so easily as it seemed

Even my shadow doesn't want anything to do with me

I carry the world's burden over my shoulder
You don't even have to say please

I'm so fucking numb
Is there even a god that can hear me scream?

Deaths chains are the only thing
That's holding me

Once they break I'll be free
Stuck in eternity of laughter

What a fool he's come to be
For I have died once before
It ain't nothing new to me
