A letter by a marked student
Dear pen you write my right and wrongs and paint them blue and black,
you settle in my fingertips as a friend though at times because of you my paper counts a million blanks , why?
because my paper,
Dear paper every time I failed you, you left a lighter smell of yourself on my desk,
you left a bitter taste on my tongue from running through pages still trying to find a better place to rest,
you calculate my little best,
Dear calculator you count my mistakes,
because no x and y has ever been a demon paved on your face,
you have left fist marks and footprints on my heart from every time you punched back at me,
Dear calculator when will you show your true colors,
DEAR EDUCATION I could have moved you out of my life but instead I wrote you this letter to say please,
Have faith in me.
