I didn't stay with her too long,
knew mother would never approve.
Kept the girl for three days
in a good sized steel cage
since Blackie died it hasn't been used.

Don't know why mother won't like her
she's the one who first found Yvonne,
standing in line for the baker
mother had told me to take her,
said I'd get with the girl later on.

Mother loved Yvonne's golden hair
so did I, for as long as I could.
But I knew I should hide her
lest mother should find her
since I can't see a girl who's not good.

But Yvonne was a sweetie to me,
did everything as she was told,
sometimes I'd duct-tape her mouth,
get in her cage and make-out,
serve her dinner in Blackie's steel bowl.

I can't keep this girl here forever
even sky's brightest stars have to fade,
but she's nice so I made her a card
and wrote, "I know that life can be hard"
then she beat me again playing spades.

I knew mother soon would catch on
she'd kill me if she ever knew
right after taking Yvonne
mother wanted her gone,
and said to dismember her too.

So I brought Yvonne out to the woods,
said we'd stop by a cabin I made.
Instead of a night playing some cards
my shovel bashed her head really hard
(Beat her in a new game of spades)
